Ground Force!
Set up a school gardening service and offer to tend the gardens of local residents (remember that you will need an adult with you at all times). If this isn't possible, find a patch of land at school and nurture it back to life.

The year 2's have been clearing out the growing area and planting seeds. They also made miniature gardens out of 2 old Belfast sinks which had been sat unused for some years!
The year 2's have been clearing out the growing area and planting seeds. They also made miniature gardens out of 2 old Belfast sinks which had been sat unused for some years!
We couldn't help any local residents with their gardening, but the Year 1 children were keen to help their teacher with planting seeds in our new gardening tubs.
